ARE WE THE CREATORS OR CREATIONS?

We are getting closer and closer to an online world where we are living in virtual reality. In-person interactions are becoming less and less common and the online world is becoming crowded by the things needed in everyday life. Almost every single task nowadays can be completed online whether it is to pay bills or purchase luxuries. Many jobs can be lost due to this fact and social skills will lie in the background of people’s personalities.

The internet is a dangerous entity and we don’t realise what it is doing to us. It is taking bodies away from visiting scenery and shopping centers and transferring us to online sites that give us these things online. At the same time this ease of access also helps if you are on the other side of the world to a site you want to see, it can be as easy as googling it to see the place.

An almost full-time online life my soon exist as for many people feel comfortable and safe doing everything from a location they chose. Everything in everyday life that is essential to us involves technology or some kind of electronic device, these items help and assist.

Today I can pay my car and phone bills, buy my groceries, order new clothes, purchase a new couch and talk to friends and family, I can do all of these every day activates from the palm of my hand without leaving my house or even room. Our lives have become more simplified in the technology revolution.

A Hyperreality could very much exist soon, incorporating things into reality this could become full-time assistance to its user. Right now you can call on your phone for help with issues. This work off people's emotions makes life easier and less stress occurs from information and items being very easy to acquire.

 Looking into many Virtual Reality (VR) headsets today the quality of the place you are looking at is perfect and the feeling of being there feels like real life. 3D technology is getting better and better every year that computer-simulated images become incredibly lifelike. There are a lot of theories that the life we are living in a simulation that we are an advanced version on Sims, but what if we are in a simulation. What if we are creations, not the creators, maybe life as we know it is not what it seems. 

We are going into a future where technology consumes our lives and entity that we cannot escape. Someday soon we might not be able to see the difference between reality and virtual reality. It is evident that we are spending more and more time online. There are different opinions that people have on this topic but advancements in civilization can only be a good thing, right?
